2013 Forum on Anaerobic Digester Production of Energy: New Opportunities for Projects in Michigan

An interactive forum on the latest resources and technologies regarding anaerobic digester-sourced energy projects in Michigan. The program will present the Michigan Waste Biomass Inventory to Support Renewable Energy and associated system modeling to project the cost and feasibility of anaerobic digester projects at agricultural operations, waste-water treatment facilities, and food production companies statewide, with special emphasis within Consumers Energy’s service territory.
Discussion topics will include the latest renewable energy policies, regulations, and economic incentives; screening and selecting potential projects; and new opportunities from Consumers Energy for power purchase agreements. These tools allow for estimating construction and interconnection costs, return on investment, and capturing both costs and benefits of developing a project at your location.
This event requires $50.00 to attend. Lunch, refreshments and parking will be provided. The forum runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; registration is availbe online.
