The Michigan State University Museum presents its 11th annual Darwin Discovery Day. Come learn from researchers and graudate students from across MSU as they share their research with the public. This year’s theme is “Teeth, Horns, Claws, Thorns: Nature’s Weapons.” Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy activities, tours and collections from the MSU Bug House, the MSU Herpetology Club, the MSU BEACON Center for the Study of Evolution in Action, the 4-H Children’s Garden, MSU Herbarium and the Department of Forestry. Other activities include the Hall of Evolution, Habitat Hall, Ask Charles Darwin (played by MSU professor Rich Bellon), behind-the-scenes tours of the museum’s vertebrate collection and a cake honoring Darwin’s 206th birthday.

This event is free and open to the public.
