Nematology Short Course for Agri-business

This one-day short course covers the vital role of nematodes in agriculture. The day begins with an overview of the impact of nematodes in agriculture, and concludes with a session of soil health. There will also be two breakout sessions on cover crops and host-crop resistance management and seed treatments. These sessions will include 14 presentations from agricultural science educators and researchers from Michigan State University (MSU) AgBioResearch scientists Dean Baas, Kim Cassida, Dave Douches, Sieg Snapp, Lisa Tiemann and George Bird, as well as scientists from Ohio State University, Iowa State University, Cornell University and the Connecticut Agricultural Research Station.
