Weathering the Climate: Cultivation & Technology in Grape Production

Attendees at this day-long conference will have the opportunity to listen to Michigan State University (MSU), Ohio State University and Northwestern Michigan College faculty as they discuss the impact of climate change on grape production, as well as the applications of unmanned aerial systems in viticulture. This includes MSU AgBioResearch scientists Jeff Andresen of the MSU Department of Geography, who will speak on the potential agronomic impacts of climate change in the Greal Lakes region, and Paolo Sabbatini of the MSU Department of Horticulture, who will discuss managing grapes for climate change. There will also be unmanned aerial systems demonstrations at Chateu Chantel Vineyard & Winery and a grape grower panel discussion on the future of the grape industry.
Registration includes the conference, breakfast, lunch and wine-tasting, as well as dinner for an additional fee.
