SWMREC Annual Report
Because the mission of the Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center is to serve the needs of Michigan agriculture, the ultimate value of projects performed at SWMREC depends upon sharing results with Michigan growers. However, it's often true that one year of research data don't provide adequate information for commercial agriculture to make decisions. This is why some scientists are reluctant to share one year's data -- the fear that it will be misinterpreted and might mislead someone. But there is also a risk in waiting to share data. The SWMREC annual report is intended to be a compromise between these two timetables for sharing data. The annual report is presented for informational puroses only. Unless explicity stated, information in the report does not imply endorsement or recommendation of products.
